Chicago, Illinois

My girlfriend and I traveled to Chicago at the end of November and into the beginning of December. It was cold (as low as -6 °F wind chill the morning we photographed The Bean!), but so much fun. Our diet consisted of 90% deep dish pizza, we found some amazing pour over coffee, and got to experience my Dad’s hometown. We truly had so much fun.

All the photographs were created using a Canon R5 Mark II with a 15-35mm or 70-200mm lens, or an iPhone 16 Pro Max. These pictures were edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

Lassen Volcanic National Park

At the beginning of August 2023, my girlfriend and I camped for 5 days in Lassen Volcanic National Park. We hiked Mt. Lassen and explored quite a bit of the park. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from the trip!

Berkeley, California

Over the past several months, I completed a master’s degree at UC Berkeley. During that time I developed a running collection of photographs from Berkeley, California. Berkeley gave me so much in my short time there, and I’m grateful for the experience. I fell in love with the weather, the energy…I just loved it.

The last picture features a man I met one morning. He seemed to be having a tough time, so I asked how he was. He said he was feeling a little depressed and we ended up talking for about 30 minutes. I learned how smart he is (he could code in five different languages), how he loves his family, and how he misses his seven year-old daughter. His name is Brandon and I’m glad I met him.

Death Valley National Park

Over spring break I camped in Death Valley National Park for four nights. The park was one of the largest I’ve been to (only Yellowstone was comparable in size). It was great to get outside and explore the desert. I even experienced some snowfall at the higher elevations, which was pretty incredible. Below are some of my favorite photos from the trip. All the pictures were made on a Canon R5 using either an RF 15-35mm lens or an EF 70-200 mm lens. These were all edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

Samuel P. Taylor State Park

About a month ago my girlfriend and I camped for a couple nights in the redwoods at Samuel P. Taylor State Park in Northern California. The trees were beautiful and it was great to get outside.

Yosemite National Park

I took a road trip to Yosemite National Park with my girlfriend towards the end of May. Luckily, there was still quite a bit of snow, which made for some unique photographs. Here’s some of my favorites! All the images were edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

Lakeside, Oregon, Redwood National Park, & Pacific Coast

During the second half of August, my sister and I took a two week road trip. We traveled to Lakeside, Oregon to stay with a family friend for a week. Then we headed down the Pacific Coast and camped in the Redwoods for four nights before traveling down the PCH towards Southern California.

During the second half of August, my sister and I took a two week road trip. We traveled to Lakeside, Oregon to stay with a family friend for a week. Then we drove down the Pacific Coast and camped in the Redwoods for four nights before heading for Southern California.

After countless hours of driving, a 15.5 mile hike, and even an encounter with a family of bears, I worked through over 2000 pictures. Below are some of my favorites.

Khola, Newbury Park, California

Over the course of the lockdown due to COVID-19, I started on a small photography project. I photographed my dog, Khola over the course of several different evenings. I challenged myself to use a variety of lenses including a 50mm prime lens, a 16-35mm wide angle lens, a 24-70mm lens, a 100mm macro lens, and finally a 70-200mm telephoto lens. I compiled the best images from the different evenings. Check them out!

Happy Quarantine! I hope everyone has managed to stay safe and healthy.
