Joshua Tree National Park

This past weekend I went to Joshua Tree National Park with my girlfriend and camped for three nights. Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip! All the pictures were captured with a Canon 5D Mark IV and edited in Adobe Lightroom.

Khola, Newbury Park, California

Over the course of the lockdown due to COVID-19, I started on a small photography project. I photographed my dog, Khola over the course of several different evenings. I challenged myself to use a variety of lenses including a 50mm prime lens, a 16-35mm wide angle lens, a 24-70mm lens, a 100mm macro lens, and finally a 70-200mm telephoto lens. I compiled the best images from the different evenings. Check them out!

Happy Quarantine! I hope everyone has managed to stay safe and healthy.

Woolsey Fire, Malibu, California

Last week I drove to Malibu, California at sunset to photograph some of destruction of the recent Woolsey Fire in Southern California. The fire burned to the coast. I started photographing along the PCH until I stumbled upon a small community of houses where I came across several houses that got burned down. It was an incredible experience that makes you consider all the things it’s easy to take for granted.

All the photographs were taken with a Canon 7D Mark II along with a 24-70mm lens. The photos were predominantly edited using Adobe Lightroom in combination with Nik Color Efex Pro.
