Europe Landscapes
This past summer I spent a month in Europe with my sister traveling to Madrid, Spain, Barcelona, Spain, Paris, France, Berlin, Germany, Herisau, Switzerland, Venice, Italy, and Rome, Italy. Below are some of my favorite landscape photographs from my time there. Personally, Madrid, Paris, and Berlin were especially memorable. That said, great food was abound and experiencing a taste of the cultures was an incredible experience in each location we visited.

Berkeley, California
Over the past several months, I completed a master’s degree at UC Berkeley. During that time I developed a running collection of photographs from Berkeley, California. Berkeley gave me so much in my short time there, and I’m grateful for the experience. I fell in love with the weather, the energy…I just loved it.

The last picture features a man I met one morning. He seemed to be having a tough time, so I asked how he was. He said he was feeling a little depressed and we ended up talking for about 30 minutes. I learned how smart he is (he could code in five different languages), how he loves his family, and how he misses his seven year-old daughter. His name is Brandon and I’m glad I met him.

Death Valley National Park
Over spring break I camped in Death Valley National Park for four nights. The park was one of the largest I’ve been to (only Yellowstone was comparable in size). It was great to get outside and explore the desert. I even experienced some snowfall at the higher elevations, which was pretty incredible. Below are some of my favorite photos from the trip. All the pictures were made on a Canon R5 using either an RF 15-35mm lens or an EF 70-200 mm lens. These were all edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

Samuel P. Taylor State Park
About a month ago my girlfriend and I camped for a couple nights in the redwoods at Samuel P. Taylor State Park in Northern California. The trees were beautiful and it was great to get outside.

Joshua Tree National Park
At the start of the new year I camped in Joshua Tree National Park for a few days with my girlfriend. It was chilly, especially with the wind, but great to be outside and enjoy nature. I recently purchased the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM lens, so it was an awesome opportunity to experiment with it. I was particularly impressed with its detail in the middle ground, especially at f/11.

Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks
Over Spring Break I went to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. I camped for four nights. It was an incredible way to spend Spring Break and enjoy the outdoors.

Lakeside, Oregon, Grand Canyon National Park, & Flagstaff, Arizona
In early September, my sister and I took a road trip to Lakeside, Oregon for a week. Then we headed out to the Grand Canyon for three days. We camped on the East Rim for two nights and then camped on the South Rim for the final night. Finally, we spent a couple more days visiting my girlfriend in Flagstaff, Arizona. The experience was awesome, and was such a great way to end the summer.

Mammoth Lakes, California
I recently spent a few days in Mammoth Lakes, California with my girlfriend. It was a little warm, but so nice just to be outside and enjoy nature. Here are some of my favorite images from the trip! All the pictures were edited in Adobe Lightroom.
